If I were President, I think I'd probably be assassinated within about two months :-p I would give us national healthcare for ALL, approve gay marriage for the entire country, make sure Planned Parenthood had federal funding, exile Sarah Palin all Napoleon style AND her oh so classy kids, implement an actual plan to help the homeless and improve the shelters. OH! AND try to get Bill Clinton approved for being my Vice President :-D

What is your earliest vivid memory? Why do you think this memory stands out so much in your mind?

My earliest real memory was around the age of 3 when I had eye surgery due to my eyes wanting to permanently cross. I remember EVERYTHING! I recall my dad wearing a navy blue button down shirt sitting to the left of me in the hospital bed before being prepped while I played with Mr. Potato Head and a green turtle. I remember the black oxygen mask being put over my nose and mouth in the pale blue tiled operating room and then the nurse being rather rough with my arms when I wanted to rub my eyes afterward while I was sitting on her lap. I remember the bloody film over my eyes and the lights inside the house being dimmed because of how sensitive my eyes were going to be. My dad was sitting in the velour striped recliner with it kicked out and I ran into it. I distinctly remember my maternal grandfather sitting in his normal position on the couch, I think wearing a white or ivory short sleeved button down and gray or tan pants (my eyes were all blurry). My mom later told me that while he was normally very stoic and quiet, he was on the couch just sniffing, in tears. She said she'd never seen him act that way. I miss my family....

So upon "Googling" myself, I found my Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Bebo, Vimeo, Flixter, Urbanspoon, & Classmates accounts and some message boards I posted to dating back as far as 2001. I was also listed in The Message last year when I went through RCIA. I of course found our ghost hunting group's website (http://www.siprs.org). I found my Campbell's Kitchen account and all the messages I've left on genealogy boards, including All Things Cherokee. I also found comments I've left on other friends' MySpace profiles, TMZ (defending my Tony Curtis to the death) and even my FB profile in Albanian!
There's a Suzanne A. Sherrod that resides in British Columbia. A Suzanne Sherrod-Nickerson is a realtor in Florida. Another Suzanne Sherrod who apparently doesn't have a great memory anymore resides in an assisted living facility in Nashville. A Suzanne Sherrod who was an Issac Litton High School in Nashville, Class of '68, who's deceased. Another Suzanne Sherrod graduated from Henrico High School in Stafford, Virginia in 1980. Damn....here I thought I was unique! I'm kind of depressed now...:-p

I try to give a lot to those I love but I also tend to spend a lot not thinking of how those little things add up. I'm trying to do better!
Buying a $4 magazine, a $5 eyeshadow, a $2 candy bar, and $10 in lactose pills when all I need is one of those things is what I mean.
Alright it's 5 am. I need to sleep some before possibly seeing my mom today. Good night/morning/afternoon to my luverly tweepies :-)
